Farmers in West Bengal are cultivating high quality tomatoes in the off-season by using Israeli technology. The farmers in the region have adopted the technique of production using greenhouses with the help of the Horticulture department.
“We are getting a very good response and the quality is better than the local tomatoes”, said a local farmer.
