Uzbekistan sees economic upswing, fruit & veg exports to Russia skyrocket

Lately Uzbekistan, like other Central Asian countries, are experiencing an economic mini-boom thanks to the sanctions imposed on Russia by the US and the EU. The country’s export of vegetables, fruit, other agricultural and industrial goods to Russia are skyrocketing. According to globalresearch.ca, the sanctions have benefited the Uzbeks (and other Central-Asians) by supplying goods and services to Russia. Russia and her Eurasian partners are claiming more and more often they are gradually achieving full self-reliance.
