US (RI): Gotham Greens plans 95,000 sq. ft. Providence greenhouse

Gotham Greens wants to build a $12.5-million, 95,000-square-foot greenhouse at 586 Atwells Ave., the vacant lot where a General Electric light bulb factory used to stand.

Brooklyn-based Gotham Greens is seeking $1.3 million in Rebuild Rhode Island Tax Credits, according to an agenda from the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, and tax credits of unspecified value from the state’s Qualified Jobs Incentive program.
