Westmoreland-TopLine Farms to showcase new Roma tomato at PMA
Westmoreland-TopLine Farms is no stranger at the PMA Fresh Summit. “We have been exhibiting from the beginning,” says Jimmy Coppola with the Leamington, ON- based greenhouse grower. “At first, we started off small and as part of the CPMA pavilion and eventually went onto our own floor space.”
PMA has it all
“PMA is one of the most important shows for us,” Coppola mentioned. “It is a great gathering to attend as it allows buyers, sellers and producers to come together under one roof and spend time with one another on a more personal level away from the daily tech grind of emails, texts and so on. It's also a great place to showcase one’s offerings and see up and coming trends within our industry. From a business perspective to a personal one the PMA has it all.”
Westmoreland-TopLine Farms always like to showcase all that if offers. From Beefsteak, Cluster on the Vine, Roma, Grape, Cherry, Medley, Heirloom and all other tomato varieties to bell peppers, mini sweet peppers to our seedless cucumbers and mini and cocktail snacking cucumbers as well as specialties.
New Roma tomato
This year, Westmoreland-TopLine Farms will have an added focus on organics and the company’s new Roma tomato. “We will showcase the newest addition to our lineup. It is a new Roma tomato that is reminiscent of a San Marzano style Roma. It has a unique shape and big flavor.” Coppola invites PMA attendees to come by booth #4847 to check out the new tomato variety and the company’s other products on display.
