Netherlands: Korean bankers visit Westland greenhouses

South Korea is seriously interested in Dutch horticulture and Korean officials have paid a visit several times to the Westland. A recent visit from Korean financial experts confirmed this good relationship once again.

The Keb Hana Bank from South Korea, following various other companies, also liked to be introduced to Dutch horticulture. The bank has a Dutch branch and their employees have already visited Dutch companies several times. This time it was the turn of the CEO of the company.

"Asia needs to ensure a larger supply of food in the coming years, and so growth of agricultural companies is a desired step. So all dressed up we were waiting for this team to arrive”, a representative of pepper nursery Valstar said. "It is nice to notice how well prepared these people are when they come to visit. We have done our best to give them a good reflection of Dutch horticulture. Together we are promoting horticulture today with the hope that we can contribute to growth and export of the sector."

The visit was continued with a trip to Koppert Cress. "Also such a beautiful company, where these people surely couldn’t believe their eyes."
