Jon Dayton joins Agrilyst as Chief Technology Officer
Agrilyst welcomes Jon Dayton to the team as CTO. Jon brings with him over a decade of experience building cutting-edge applications and growing product teams. Prior to joining Agrilyst, Jon served as the Director of Engineering at Vestorly, a platform combining artificial intelligence and content marketing for the financial services industry.
Agrilyst is changing the way indoor farmers (greenhouses, vertical farms, shipping container farms, etc.) use data on the farm. Their software is being used by more than 100 growers, in 10 countries, on 5 continents to help drive higher profitability. Growers are already seeing 5% higher revenues than their competitors once they start using Agrilyst to analyze operational data.
As the company scales in both users and expansion of the product, they were looking for an experienced senior leader to drive this growth. Jon has started a company, worked for global Fortune 500 teams, and built AI applications from the ground up. Jon also received his MBA from Yale.
“Joining the Agrilyst team is an incredible opportunity; I’m excited to work with a company that is changing the entire face of horticulture and has meaningful impact on how farmers feed the world”, Jon Dayton said.
