Japanese company JFE Engineering starts greenhouse project in Russia

This year, JFE Engineering, a Japanese company, starts implementation of a greenhouse project in the Primorsky Krai, the region with the largest economy in the Russian Far East.

The investor from Japan will build greenhouses with an area of five hectares in Surazhevka village located in the Primorsky Krai, the press office of the regional administration announced following a meeting with official from Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Osama Hasiramoto.

“This year, Japanese JFE Engineering Corporation will start building greenhouses in Surazhevka village. This is a joint project with 'Dalnevostochnoye' federal state enterprise, the largest greenhouse integrated plant in the Primorsky Krai. The investments total about one billion roubles,” Director of the regional International Cooperation Department, Alexey Starichkov, told reporters.
