Hawaiian farmers association offers free hydroponic classes

It was a green day for 49 graduates who earned an honorary basic certificate in family and small-scale commercial hydroponic vegetable production this summer at the Keaukaha-Panaewa Farmers Association farmers market.

KPFA and Sakai are hosting another six-week hydroponic workshop from 9 a.m.-noon every Saturday starting Nov. 12 at the farmers market on Railroad Avenue across from Home Depot.
