US (ID): Businesses come together to fund WS greenhouse
The school’s FFA students are helping to assemble the building, and many have already signed up for two new classes to be offered in connection to the building: plant and soil science and plant growth and development, said Principal Tyler Telford.
“This opens up another avenue for students that are not interested in strictly mechanics or welding. There are currently 90 students enrolled in the program and 85 of those students are enrolled in the FFA program,” Telford said.
In addition, students will be able to grow and sell flowers and plant starts.
