US (ID): Blackfoot high school greenhouse receives grant

Representatives of the Northwest Farm Credit Services in Blackfoot presented the Snake River High School agriculture program with a check for $2,000. The money will be used to purchase a new shell for the greenhouse that is at the back of the ag building on the SRHS campus.

J.B. Hoge, SRHS ag teacher said, "The skin on the greenhouse has oxidized. Normally, a greenhouse shell lasts 10 years, this one is 21 years old."

CHS Bingham Coop uses the greenhouse after Spud Harvest for potato trials.
