US (PA): $10 million MMJ facility proposed in Erie County

Les Hollis, chief executive officer of Illinois Grown Medicine, and Ken Smukler, a Philadelphia-based political consultant, are seeking zoning permission from Wayne Township supervisors for a $10 million facility in the Corry Industrial Park.

If a majority vote by the township gives the growing operation the green light, Hollis and Smukler will apply through the state for a “license to grow” application.

A public hearing about the proposed facility will be held in the next few weeks, according to the township.

A date has not been announced.
