US (ME): Organic cucumbers from seed to harvest

Big things are growing at the Four Season Farm in Harborside, Maine. Six foot tall cucumber plants, to be exact. Nationally recognized as a model of sustainable agriculture, the Four Season Farm is an experimental market garden that produces vegetables year-round. Farming pioneer Eliot Coleman is the man behind, and hidden by, these giant cucumber plants. Eliot’s daughter Clara, an organic farmer and TEDx speaker, is Rimol’s Four Season Farm liaison. With her reports, Rimol has compiled a timeline of the last few months at the farm.
