US (TX): Agrilife Extension to offer aquaponics workshop

Building on last fall’s Introduction to Aquaponics Workshop, on June 21 from 1-4 p.m., Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Nueces and San Patricio Counties will offer a second aquaponics class, Aquaponics 206: Building the System. Anybody interested in starting their first aquaponics project can attend this workshop and learn about and construct an aquaponics system.

The workshop will be held at the Texas A&M Research and Extension Center, 10345 State Hwy 44, Corpus Christi. A participation fee of $30, which includes a chance to win an assembled backyard aquaponics system, will be charged at the door, according to Jason Ott, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service agent for agriculture and natural resources in Nueces County.
