Greengro adds app to alert service

Greengro Technologies has engaged with a provider of secure wireless communication tools to expand its text message alert service. Upon its launch in Q1 of 2016, Greengro’s 420Scan texting service opened up a communication platform for participants in the MMJ industry by providing users with real-time information on local MMJ dispensaries and services. Now, the Company is developing a fully integrated, secure voice-communication solution named “420ScanPhone” to the platform complimenting its already existing texting service. The new app is expected to be launched sometime in Q3 of 2016.

Businesses and professionals today are faced with the challenge of providing tools to enable a mobile workforce and boost productivity while protecting data and remaining in compliance with current laws and regulations. However, readily available and free consumer tools can easily undermine these obligations and compromise the business with the unprotected transmittal of proprietary information via unsecure channels. Each unprotected phone call or message sent via standard communication tools can easily be captured by hackers, foreign governments, and other unwelcomed third parties. The MMJ business community is not immune to these dangers.

The new 420Scan Phone communication app is being developed as a solution to this issue that has a concern to all technologically-savvy business owners.

James Haas, CEO of Greengro Technologies, says, “We anticipate that once our development of the app is complete, each subscriber of our new 420Scan Phone application will receive a completely secure dedicated phone line that will not only be able to interchange with any compatible mobile device but also will be tailored to precisely accommodate the size of the subscriber’s organization” (the company expects that each subscriber account will accommodate up to ten outgoing phone line extensions).

Additional features expected to be available on the 420Scan.com communication platform are picture messaging and video messaging. Mr. Haas added, “the development of this app adds value to our 420Scan suite of products. We expect a robust paying subscriber base to utilize our services to improve the safety, security, and efficiency of their business operations.”
