"Pot plants? No, these are tomatoes"

Two people have been charged after around 50 marijuana plants were discovered in Uniontown (Pennsylvania) on Wednesday.

Police say they received a tip that a man was loading pot plants into a car parked on Lincoln Street.

When officers arrived, two people identified as Lisa Murray and Carl Moore were standing outside the vehicle.

According to a report, the officer noticed “leafy plants” inside the trunk of the car before Murray shut the trunk.

When police asked to search the vehicle, Murray agreed but stated that she was told the plants were tomatoes and peppers by Moore.
