US (ME): West Paris planning board approves marijuana greenhouse

The West Paris planning board approved a request Tuesday night by resident Carl Young to operate a medical marijuana greenhouse.

Young told the board he would construct the greenhouse next to his home on Morse Hill Road, and it would be either 40 by 50 feet or 30 by 100 feet.

Young is licensed by the state to provide medical marijuana for five people.

The proposal will go to the Board of Selectmen for its consideration.
