US: Village Farms presents at 4th Annual Indoor Ag Con in Las Vegas

Village Farms is again part of Indoor Agriculture Conference April 5 & 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the consecutive fourth year Village Farms has been asked to participate and present at the budding conference for controlled environment agriculture (CEA). This year the conference is being held at the Las Vegas convention center and is featuring exhibitors in all facets of CEA along with a full conference agenda. Michael A. DeGiglio, President and CEO will lend thirty year plus industry expertise during an ‘Ask Me Anything’ open forum at the conference. Village Farms Corporate Chef Darren Brown will also speak on a panel of contributors entitled, “What do Produce Buyers Wish to see from Indoor Growers?”.

According to Michael A. DeGiglio, “I am pleased to have been asked to again be part of this seminal conference that seeks to further the stakeholder relationships in an amazing growth industry.” Chef Darren Brown also had this to say, “Considering global food resources are in decline and populations are on the rise we have to be constantly looking to innovative ways to adapt and I'm intrigued at the potential for indoor agriculture to be one of the key solutions for our food supply for future generations.” Indoor Ag Con host events about indoor agriculture; growing all kinds of crops in greenhouses, warehouses and containers using hydroponic, aquaponic and aeroponic technologies. Events seek to unite farmers, growers, chefs, technology geeks, suppliers, investors and advocates.
