UK: AHDB Horticulture Contaminants Update

On 21 December 2015, AHDB Horticulture published its inaugural 'Contaminants Update'. ‘Contaminants’ are residues found on edible produce/products, that do not arise from the use of Plant Protection Products (PPPs). It is important that you read these updates because discussions which impact on the Maximum Residue Levels (MRL) permitted on food are ongoing at EU level.

The most recent update discusses chlorate, perchlorate, and phosphonate. Click here to read it.
