Applications open for HortNZ Leadership Programme 2016

The HortNZ Leadership Programme 2016 is designed for potential or current leaders in the horticulture industry who want to develop their leadership skills. Jointly run by HortNZ and Lincoln University, demand for one of the 18 available places is high. If you are a grower, an employee of a grower or an organisation closely associated with growing, then you are eligible to apply.

The course is in three phases and is designed to feed into existing programmes like the Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme. Phase 1 is a three day residential programme at Lincoln University from 25-28 August, Phase 2 is an independent project, and Phase 3 is a three day residential programme in Wellington from 11-13 October. Its emphasis on developing “ready to use” leadership and business skills has made it highly sought after by growers and employers alike.
