US (AZ): CEAC webinar available on controlled environment agriculture

The Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) of the University of Arizona announces the inauguration of an educational monthly seminar series.

Topics will focus on the varying and extensive aspects of controlled environment agriculture including crop production, greenhouse technologies, plant physiology, innovation in urban crop production, novel crops grown in controlled environments, and more.

Seminar presentations are geared to interest professional and small scale growers, students at all levels, backyard growers, and community individuals interested in greenhouse plant growing.

The March 25 lecture is to be presented by John Adams, Deputy Director of Biosphere 2. As the administrative and research overseer of B2, Adams is involved with the many research projects and educational initiatives of this unique unit of the University of Arizona. In this lecture, Adams will discuss some of these projects, and how they impact our understanding of our own biosphere—Earth.
