UK: Spring seminar on LED plant growth

For the last 2 years, PhytoLux has hosted a spring seminar at the Rothamsted Research facility in Harpenden, UK. Both seminars were focused on bringing together many of the UK based university and research organisations that had been working with the company during the research and development stage of their LED plant growth lights, with the objective being to share knowledge.

This year it was decided to change the event by inviting a number of speakers from other organisations and extending the invitation to commercial growers and universities/research organisations that have not necessarily worked with PhytoLux in the past.

Seminar objective
To educate delegates regarding where LED plant growth lighting is at today, including performance, efficiency and achievements, the challenges of changing to/introducing this new technology and how to optimise and gain maximum benefit from growing under LED's. This will include reference to the commercial viability of extending the growing season and future innovations that may open up new fields of research.
