Mark Verweij appointed GM at Bom Group

Starting Today, Mike Vermeij joins the management team of Bom Group, the specialist in the development and construction of complete horticultural projects at home and abroad, which has recently moved to new premises in Hoek van Holland.

Vermeij becomes general manager of Bom Group, a progressive greenhouse builder, heating engineer and screen specialist, who over the years developed into an innovative specialist in the development and construction of complete horticultural projects. He will take over the role of Bram van der Kooy, a familiar face in the horticultural sector, who will reduce his role in the coming period and will hand over his duties to Vermeij. After this period he will be involved in special projects only. By doing so, Van der Kooy (60) ensures the continuity of the management of Bom Group.

The new general manager Mike Vermeij has a commercial background and has gained a lot of knowledge over the years in climate techniques. From Monday on, he forms the management team, along with Martin van Zeijl, director greenhouse heating and Rob Grootscholten, director greenhouses and screen systems.
