US (GA): Bayer sponsor of SE Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference

Bayer was one of the main sponsors at the 2016 Southeast Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference held in Savannah, GA in the beginning of January. The conference included educational sessions, as well as a trade show where representatives from both Crop Protection and Vegetable Seeds divisions of Bayer exhibited in a joint booth.

This integrated approach helped to promote Bayer products like Luna, Sivanto, Alion and Nunhems varieties of watermelon, melon, onion and carrot to the 3500 attendees. Bayer was also represented in the educational session that included a training by staff from the Bee Care Center.

The conference is held annually and attended by growers and other industry professionals from around the southeast, as well as other regions. “By exhibiting together we were able to reach a wider audience and expand our customer’s knowledge of our resources and products.” said Rob Beets, Watermelon and Melon Sales Specialist.
