The uniform party could be planted efficiently and thus rapidly. This year’s focus is on Bayer's greatly enlarged tomato assortment including the commercial varieties Progression, Foundation, Extension, Commotion, Direction and Competition.
Demonstration areas are also setup with the promising varieties in, among other things, the snack and cocktail segment.
Visiting the tomato demonstration greenhouse offers growers, advisors, retailers and traders a good inside in the newest developments in Bayer's tomato breeding program, because this year in various segments a wide range of new material became available.
As of March the demo greenhouse will be open to visitors. Bayer offers the option to visit the demonstration fields in an early stage of the cultivation. This to provide visitors with an insight into the highly development speed and earliness in production of the presented varieties.
The tomato plants were sown, grafted and grown by WPK.
