Farmers looking to learn more about the business of organics, or looking to connect with individuals in the organic food sector, will have the chance at the upcoming Organic Opportunities Conference.
The conference is set for Jan. 13-14 at the Comfort Inn in St. John’s.
Guest speakers will include farm-focused businesspeople, community co-operative farmers, chefs and university researchers. The topics will cover everything from potential partnership opportunities for farmers, means of saving and selecting seeds and livestock feed.
