Fiji: $5m investment for organic farming

Organic farming will soon be introduced as a viable career option. These come after the Korean church company Grace Road Food Group announced it would make an investment towards a $5million Agricultural Institute in Navua.

Earlier this month, progress towards this investment was discussed in meetings between local agriculture stakeholders at the Fiji National University.

Grace Road Group president Daniel Kim confirmed the establishment of an Agricultural Training Institute would revitalise Fiji's agricultural sector especially producing a skilled workforce. "Grace Road will begin the construction of its Agricultural Training Institute in January and complete and begin its operations within 10 months' time."
