Company brings Japanese Crown melons to Thailand

V FOODS (Thailand), a food and beverage producer and distributor, has announced it is ready to introduce the Crown Melon, Japan's best-known premium fruit brand overseas, to the Thai premium fruit market.

Crown Melon offers top-quality, world-famous melons grown from the best sources in Fukuroi City in Japan's Shizuoka Prefecture, according to the company's chairman and chief executive officer Apirak Kosayodhin.

"The melon is regarded as Japan's 'King of Fruit' and 'Crown Melon' is Japan's best-known premium fruit brand overseas," Apirak said.

Initially, prime-quality melons from Crown Melon will be available at Tops Online and Central Food Hall outlets at CentralWorld, Central Chidlom and Central Festival East Ville from December 2015 onwards.
