Public meeting on medical marijuana grow ops in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls city council will give local residents a chance tomorrow (Tues) night to voice their opinion on a plan to allow medical marijuana operations to set up shop in the city.

The meeting which gets underway at 7pm at city hall, will gather input on a plan to introduce regulations allowing for the growing, processing, packaging and distribution of medical marijuana.

The public meeting comes after residents expressed concerns about a plan to allow medical marijuana facilities at the former Redpath Sugar plant on Garner Road, and the old Kimberly Clark plant on Victoria Avenue.
