Medical marijuana products now legal in Croatia

The purchase and use of marijuana for medical purposes is now legal in Croatia – the first Balkan country to allow patients to buy and use THC from marijuana to treat serious illnesses.

As of October 15, doctors in Croatia are allowed to prescribe medicine, teas and ointment containing THC, the active element in cannabis, to their patients. Regulations permit each patient to receive up to 0.75 grammes of THC per month.
