Poland: Two huge greenhouses to be built in Polaniec

A German-Dutch investor plans to build two huge greenhouses in PoĊ‚aniec, Poland, for the production of tomatoes.

The project presented by the German-Dutch company involves the construction of two modern, fully computerised greenhouses with a total surface of 20 hectares. They will be equipped with modern technology for energy and carbon dioxide generation. 

The constructions of these facilities has been described by local authorities as a breakthrough also in terms of labour, as the greenhouses will provide permanent employment to 120 employees, with an additional 80 seasonal jobs.
