HT-SAAE to build two 50MW greenhouse PV projects in China

China-based monocrystalline module producer Shanghai Aerospace Automobile Electromechanical Co (HT-SAAE) plans to construct two 50MW PV projects for agricultural greenhouses in China.

HT-SAAE said in a financial filing that the projects would be built in Xinzhou, Shanxi Province, China and had started construction in August, 2015 and were expected to be completed the end of October 2015.

The projects were said to have fully financed and subsidy payments expected to be 0.95 yuan/kwh (US$0.15/kwh), providing a project internal rate of return of 9.62%. However this would be without inclusion of any agricultural related subsidies, according to the company.
