Improved LED-lighting to reduce energy consumption by half

A new project has been granted by STW to improve LED-lighting in greenhouses, which may reduce the energy consumption for lighting by half.

Eight PhD-studens and 3 postdocs will work on this project, in which a number of universities and companies are involved, including the Horticulture and Product Physiology group.

This project will be financed by the Dutch Technology Foundation STW and 10 companies.
