Once the official commissioning was released last week, the geothermal plant by Geothermal De Lier was put into operation in record time. The prosperous realization was made possible by Enthoven technology. The start was preceded by a comprehensive testing phase in close cooperation with VB-Projects. The drilling (to a depth of 2,600 meters) went well. Enthoven Technology has also connected the electrical and automation systems.
The project, which is controlled by a Priva Connext computer, provides an economically attractive source of heat for the entrepreneurs Harting and De Bruijn. At the same time the environment is spared, as the reduced gas consumption causes lowered CO2 emissions.
Part of the project is conducted explosion-proof (ATEX). For this, special cables were used. There are several pumps connected in the range of 750kW, 450kW and 90kW. For the regulation of pressure and level with the above pump, use is made of frequency converters that are almost 2 meters high. The enormous dimensions are in stark contrast with the high degree of accuracy with which this installation is controlled. Enthoven Technology has produced special temperature sensors to accomplish this feat.
Enthoven Techniek and the project partners have thus produced a high quality installation which contributes to the sustainability of greenhouses in the Netherlands.
