US (LA): Estuary program celebrates greenhouse

The Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program celebrated its new native plant greenhouse at the Nicholls State University Farm. The greenhouse was made possible by a $48,500 grant from the Mosaic Co., producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash, two essential crop nutrients.

The greenhouse will provide protection for the woody species used for the program's vegetative restoration efforts. Black mangroves can now be added.
