Australia: Powerplants develops Easy Dose system for irrigation water
The Research and Development team at Powerplants are happy to announce a new product they have developed called the Easy Dose. This new product can be supplied as either a bypass mixer with capacity of up to 800lpm or an inline unit with capacity of 100lpm. It is designed for single recipe applications, and injects fertilizer and acid/alkali into an existing irrigation system. When used as a bypass system, some irrigation water is bypassed from the main irrigation line and dosed with nutrient and acid to achieve the desired EC and pH levels. When used as a inline unit, all the irrigation water (up to 100lpm) will pass through the unit and be dosed with nutrient and acid/alkali to achieve the required EC & pH.
There are many advantages to The Easy Dose, but most importantly it is economical. The Easy Dose is compact in size- the unit is approximately 1.2m long, 0.6m wide and 1.2m high and it can be run by Autogrow or Priva controllers and a stand-alone model is currently in development. The Easy Dose is ready to build if they are controlled by a Maximiser or Integro, however the stand alone controller is due to be completed in December/January.
