US: Marrone Bio Innovations CEO receives Agrow Award for best manager with a strategic vision

Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (MBI) (Nasdaq:MBII), a leading global provider of bio-based pest management and plant health products, announced today that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer Pam Marrone has received a 2014 Agrow Award for “Best Manager with Strategic Vision.” Marrone was honoured at the Agrow Awards’ 2014 ceremony and dinner last night in Amsterdam.

The inaugural “Best Manager with Strategic Vision” award recognizes a manager who through a strategic initiative was able to achieve clearly identifiable targets in areas such as new product launches, new market penetration and company performance.

The prestigious Agrow Awards, presented by Agrow, a leading information provider for the global crop protection industry, features 13 categories in areas such as R&D, formulation, innovation, collaboration, marketing, business strategy and corporate responsibility. Candidates were judged by an independent panel of industry experts, before announcing the winners on October 29th.
