Russia: Giant greenhouse near Tyumen ready for drilling

First stage of construction of a huge greenhouse complex in the Tyumen region is complete. Interior gas pipeline is being laid; the glazing works are nearly finished. The first seeds are hoped to be planted in November, the first harvest is expected next year.

The complex currently occupies 11 hectares, and this is just the first stage. Full capacity is 9,000 MT of vegetables a year, - explained the curator of the project, Vladimir Lantsov.
 
It is to note that the greenhouse complex is built on the basis of Dutch technologies by an investor from Saint-Petersburg. The complex will create 183 job vacancies. The project budget exceeds 2 billion roubles (39 million Euro), 95% of which is granted by JSC Rosselkhozbank.
