Hoogendoorn tip:

Checking the EC and pH measurements during the crop rotation

The crop rotation is the perfect moment to check the EC and pH measurements and to adjust them if necessary. In the Hoogendoorn manual you will find practical instructions on how to clean the sensors and how to check the measurements.

The pH sensors need to be replaced every 1 or 2 years: consult the documentation provided with your sensors. In case you don't have the documentation anymore, or you have questions, please ask our Hoogendoorn Helpdesk for advice.

Another option is to outsource maintenance to your Hoogendoorn partner/ installer. Of course it is always good to contact your partner in case of deviations in the measurements. After all, in a new cultivation cycle you want to be assured of an optimal water and fertilizer dosage based on the correct EC and pH values.
