Greenhouse tomatoes prices soar in Ukraine

According to the latest data, prices for greenhouse tomatoes have reached a peak this year. Based on the recent information, local tomatoes producers continue to raise vegetables costs on Ukrainian vegetables market. Tomatoes prices have gone up to 20% this month in Ukraine. At the current moment prices for greenhouse tomatoes comprise 1,17-1,25 EUROkg. It stands to mention that this month prices are 2 times higher than average figures within last 5 years. This costs raise could be traced to limited import volumes and decrease in supply of tomatoes.
