Australia: Surgical separation likely for Siamese cucumber, says farmer
"I've seen them grow a lot bigger, but I've never seen anything like this," Mr Ross said.
The 30cm cucumbers grew on the one stalk and are completely joined on one side.
Mr Ross said the prized vegetables may have to be surgically separated with a sharp kitchen knife before it was served up on the dinner table but he's not complaining.
"I used to be a farmer at Tarome and I've grown plenty of carrots and parsnips and potatoes and I've never seen anything like it," he said.
"I'd love to enter it in a competition but there are no shows on at the moment."
