Backyard Farms:
Mary Ann Esposito’s tomato recipe tips for the fall
Backyard Farms' Head Chef Mary Ann Esposito knows a thing or two about cooking. The beloved Chef is the host of the PBS cooking show, Ciao Italia, an accomplished cookbook author, culinary award winner and fresh tomato lover!
For the entire month of October, Mary Ann will be the Celebrity Chef and Judge for our Falling for Tomatoes Recipe Contest. We invite you to share your all-time favourite fall recipe with us and Mary Ann will choose her top three recipes to win! After Mary Ann cooks all three of the winning recipes, she’ll award the grand prize to her favourite.
All three winning recipes will be posted on our website for all tomato-lovers to see. In addition, we’ll be giving the grand prize winner a Fall Harvest gift basket complete with Mary Ann Esposito’s new cookbook, a Backyard Farms tomato tasting kit and delicious products from Stonewall Kitchen, Filippo Berio and Cabot Creamery.
So, do you have an all-time favourite fall recipe – that includes tomatoes – to share? We’d love to try it! If you’re not sure what to submit, here are some tips from Mary Ann Esposito.
