Two directors of a Dutch greenhouse builder have been arrested for a possible fraud with European subsidies. The NVWA (Dutch Food and Drug Administration) suspects the greenhouse builders of a fraud in the application of a subsidy for the construction of a greenhouse.
Besides the two directors of the greenhouse construction company, also a grower of top fruit and his subsidy advisor have been arrested.
The subsidy was already partially awarded. It is regarding a six digit figure.
