Africa: Launch of the Kenya-Nigeria Agribusiness Partnership Forum

The Kenya Flower Council attended the launch of the Nigeria/Kenya Agribusiness Partnership Forum on September 11, 2014 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi.

A high delegation from Nigeria from the Agricultural Sector led by the Nigerian Honourable Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development Hon. Dr. Akinwumi Adesina visited Kenya with a view to explore and engage with the Kenya business community from 10th to the 14th of September, 2014.

The event was graced by Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Hon. Felix Koskei where he said export challenges between the two countries will be addressed. He said trade between Kenya and Nigeria on products like cut flowers is low and need to be expanded.
