Russia: New greenhouses to be built in Komi Republic

LLC Prigorodny in Komi has reported about the implementation of projects aimed at development of vegetable and dairy production. The total investment equals 152 million Roubles (~3 million Euro), - said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture in Komi Sergey Chechetkin.

80 million Roubles (1.6 million Euro) out of this fund are intended for the construction of greenhouses with total area of 1.3 hectares. This is to include the loan (50%), the own funds (25%) and the government support (25%). New greenhouses will contribute to the yearly production of 610 MT of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and other vegetables.
