Spain: CASI to sue its ex-president José María Andújar

The Agricultural Cooperative San Isidro (CASI) has decided to sue its former president, José María Andújar, after hearing the results of the internal audit conducted, as well as the opinion of their legal services on this regard.

This was confirmed yesterday by the current president, Miguel Vargas, who said that for him, as for most of his partners, the situation "is certainly not a tasteful dish."

Thus, CASI will sue its ex-president for alleged misuse of the cooperative's money. Andújar had already been charged with an alleged scam reported by one of CASI's members.

According to another member of the cooperative, the report that has resulted from the audit is "devastating" with regard to the former president's management, hence why the majority "voted in favour of taking action for liability."
