For the first-time ever, the AAS Summer Summit will be held in conjunction with the Home Garden Seed Association’s annual meeting and will take place in the month of October.
All-America Selections and Home Garden Seed Association, along with National Garden Bureau, will take attendees on a tour of innovative urban agriculture spots around Dallas, including the Dallas Arboretum, Texas A&M’s AgriLife Research centre and Ruibal’s Plants of Texas urban garden centre, located next to the Dallas Farmer’s Market, which is undergoing major renovations. In close proximity is Fort Worth, another area of innovation, so tours of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas are included that day, followed by an urban foodie experience sure to please anyone with an appetite. See you in the south in 2015!
