New plants will no longer have Latin descriptions

According to bbc.com, the International Botany Congress has decided that Latin will no longer be the primary language for formally describing new species of plants.

Traditionally plants were officially recorded with a description written in Latin - often including new words coined by botanists which never existed in the classical language.
