Rijk Zwaan to launch snack line in Asia

During this year’s Asia Fruit Logistica, Rijk Zwaan will highlight its product line Sensational Snacks. After the increasing popularity of snack vegetables in other parts of the world, Rijk Zwaan believes that Asia is ready for a healthy ‘snack attack’, too.

“Snack vegetables seem to be the perfect way to increase vegetable consumption around the world”, says Rijk Zwaan’s Jan Doldersum. “That’s why we have selected a number of varieties that perfectly suit the wishes of the modern consumer: ready-to-eat, bite-size vegetables with a great taste. This year, we will put this ‘sensational snacks’ centre at our trade stand in Hong Kong.”

Inspiration

Amongst other products, Rijk Zwaan will present ready-to-eat, honey-sweet plum tomatoes and small, handy-sized, crunchy cocktail cucumbers. “Furthermore, we will display different ways to present these vegetable snacks, including surprising retail packagings. We expect to offer a lot of inspiration!”

Asia Fruit Logistica is Asia's leading trade show for the international fresh fruit and vegetable business and takes place from 3-5 September 2014. More than 400 exhibitors from 38 countries are expected to exhibit their products and services at the event, which means there are more exhibitors from more countries than ever before.

Rijk Zwaan will be at stand L-11 in Hall 3.
