A large greenhouse complex for growing vegetables is to be built in Baykalsk, Russia, by September 1st, 2015.

As told by the Mayor of Baykalsk Vasily Temgenevsky, a suitable land plot that fulfils all the requirements and possesses the corresponding infrastructure nearby, has been found. Total area of the plot is 12 hectares: 4 of them will be occupied with greenhouses, 1 ha with buildings, and the rest is for agricultural development, which will attract investors.
The greenhouse complex will create more than a hundred employment positions. The complex will be built on the basis of public-private partnership, 500 million roubles (about 10 million Euro) are planned to be spent.
