Everris will unveil the latest innovations to its water soluble fertilizer (WSF) ranges – Universol and Peters Excel – at the Four Oaks Trade Show in Cheshire next month.
“As a result of increased rainwater harvesting, we are seeing rising soft water usage on UK nurseries,” says Everris marketing manager, Dave Steward. “Soft water is very low in dissolved nutrients. Meanwhile, as a consequence of reducing atmospheric pollution sulphur levels have fallen significantly. Historically sulphates have been used to supply sulphur in WSFs but also contribute to EC (conductivity) and compete with other nutrients.”
To provide solutions for growers, Everris has extended its premium quality Peters range with Peters Excel CalMag Grower with Organic-S and Peters Excel CalMag Finisher with Organic-S.
“With their unique formulations, including the exclusive advanced M-77 chelating ingredient, Peters Excel CalMag products deliver a single product solution to complete plant nutrition in soft water,” explains Dave Steward. “The improved analysis, featuring the Organic-S molecule, promotes better and faster rooting enhancing plant quality. The phosphorus level is also boosted to improve initial rooting and bud development.”
Linking to the multi nutrient packages of these products, Everris will be hosting a M-77 vitamin drink challenge on its Four Oaks stand this year.
Everris has also extended its tried and tested standard Universol WSF brand with two new hard and two new soft water options.
The stand will also showcase AngelaWeb, the precision nutrition soft ware tool that scooped the Technical Excellence award at last year’s show and Osmocote Topdress NT, the ideal controlled release fertilizer to get spring sales off to a flying start.
Plant protection product highlights include new label changes to Exemptor (thiacloprid), which can now provide up to 17 weeks, or season long, control of vine weevil in ornamentals and PlantTrust, the breakthrough new controlled release control for Phytophthora cinnamomi providing up to five months continuous protection.
The company’s extensive range of top quality, consistent growing media products − Levington®, Shamrock® and Humax® − will also feature.
